Where Sociology and Policy Meet
The Peace, War, & Social Conflict
Laboratory Welcomes You
The Peace, War, & Social Conflict Laboratory started in 2017 as a research collaborative effort between faculty and students at the University of Texas at Austin. In 2018 the PWSCL moved to Texas Tech University. The PWSCL mission is to provide a space for interdisciplinary, policy-related research on issues in Peace, War, and Social Conflict. Today the PWSCL is a hub of excellence that allows students to earn research-related skills and experience on high-impact topics.
Congratulations for the summer grant winners!
Criss Kyle and Justin Osburn won the PWSCL two summer grants, one in collaboration with the TTU Humanities Center and the second with the Gerda Henkel Stiftung Foundation.
They will work with Kerry Chavez on our Terrorist Organizations and Drone Technology Data Project
